Northern Landscape Study

The Northern Landscape Study is a long-term project where I photograph multiple Canadian Arctic and Subarctic régions and record the traces left by people as they inhabit Canada’s North. With these deceiving mundane images, I dismantle the myth of the subarctic as barren land and reveal a realistic view of Canada’s North as a landscape historical in history and cultural complex.
